Guest guest
I'm 43 and have had implants for 10 years, no problems at all. But... two weeks ago I found a lump on the surface of the left implant, about 1 inch above the areola. I thought it was a reaction to dairy, which happens on my chest if I'm not careful. But it persisted for about 3 days, and then it got harder and bigger. It doubled in size by day 5(it's now about the size of a pencil eraser). I saw my doctor as soon as he could take me and he suggested a mammogram asap. He said that it could just be s cyst, or something else.... I had the mammogram yesterday and will get the results Monday (we hope). ly, I'm scared to death now. I've heard all the horror stories and have had two friends go through hell. I was always the " healthy one " , but now I may not be so lucky. Well, it feels good to talk. I hope to post on Monday with good news. Gulp.
