Guest guest
Is this a supplement? Thanks for the info about capr. acid-I have some but haven't been taking it often. Does anyone have any history of taking apple cider vinegar? It tastes so bad but it is supposed to be a miracle worker.... I missed my last big women's group at church last night because I had a binge on cookies and fell asleep on the couch. Woke up really mad at myself...told my husb. that I thought I was getting the flu. I lie just like an addict....Thanks for all the advice! Love, Daryl
Guest guest
Hi Daryl, D-Mannos is a powder supplement that can help with UTI's and kidney infections. That is the reputation anyway. Try to take your caprylic acid daily! I think it will help alot. I've done the apple cider vinegar a couple of times, but never on any long term basis. It is supposed to be a good alkalizer. It can't hurt! Don't beat yourself up about the binge on cookies! I'm sure we've all done it! Just focus on your good fruits and veggies Daryl! Love you! Patty > > Is this a supplement? Guest guest
Hi Daryl and Patty ~and Everybody ! I found a fairly good remady for that.........sugar binge thang......... Cooked oatmeal constipates me, so I dont eat it.......but had bunches of it, so I decided to play...... These are fairly healthy but also have alittle " other " in it......enough to satisfy your sweet tooth..... melt a stick and 1/4 of real butter. add about 3/4 cup brown sugar and about 1/2 cup local honey about a teaspoon or so of vanilla......let that warm up mixin it thuroughly I am sure molassas would work too and is healthier, but I dont have any. then put in 4 cups of oatmeal and stir it well........then put in a cup of almonds, walnuts or peanuts.....what ever you have, the first two are the healthiest.......stir it well.....then...........put in a cup of dark chocolate chunks.......stir in and put in a big pan and press down firmly......the chocolate will melt alittle, but thats ok.....just lick your fingers......LOL...... anyway......put that in the oven for about 15 min at 350.......check it, then let it cook another 10-15......then take it out and let it sit a bit.......right before it is all cooled, cut it up , then let it cool some more so it sticks together well.... but before it is all the way cool, take it out and put it on waxed paper til it is all the way cool......then put it in a container, but eat a piece first....... YUMMY and satisfies your sweet tooth......drink a glass of water with it ( so you can enjoy the full flavor without having to share it with other flavors) I find when I have a craving, if I drink water with my craving, then it doesnt dilute the pleasure of indulging in your craving...... and it is very filling............ back to bed........ Love and prayers ~ Dede Re: D-mannos? Hi Daryl, D-Mannos is a powder supplement that can help with UTI's and kidney infections. That is the reputation anyway. Try to take your caprylic acid daily! Guest guest
Hi gg, No, I have never taken Nystatin. I have always just used natural things for fighting yeast, like raw garlic, grapefruit seed extract, pau d'arco and caprylic acid. I am sure some others who have used Nystatin can comment.
