Guest guest Posted August 6, 2002 Report Share Posted August 6, 2002 Just a quick note....My brother is a paramedic at this hospital and got the scoop of some patient threatening to beat up a nurse and tech....he found out it was supposidly me so he called. Long story short, 4 nurses have filed complaints against the male nurse and 2 Dr.s have filed grievances against this other Dr. I too am going to file with the hospital and will seek the advice of an attorney. Right now I am in so much pain I can hardly sit and write this. I dread going back to the ER but since my doc is still in the office I'm going to have him call them with instructions. We live with a life threatening illness that could terminate our lives anytime. I realized that in 1999 after I came close to dying due to pancreatitis complications. It's sad how we are treated by some emergency room workers at hospitals. So many emergency room doctors and nurses take our illness lightly. I hope that you can get the necessary medical attention and have some comfort soon.
