Guest guest
Hi all.... The doctor from the NIH called on tues...and this is the first I have been really able to get on here to ask what you all think...know....have heard of..... All the results are not in so there is nothing earth shattering going on...They hope to be able to get together on the 6 of Feb and discuss all the results...and mull it all over....and then the main doctor leaves for a couple of days...so I should hear from him on the 10th....so will wait until then... Now to the question.....Tys playlets have always been low...so nothing new there...but in Dec with labs they were 45,000 then when we went to his Immunology appointment on the 2nd of Jan they were 22,000...which they called to tell us so we could go down to the NIH with that info....while there his playlet count came back as unreadable....because his playlets were clumping.... now again with his labs from last fridays Remicade they came back again...as unreadable...due to clumping... The NIH doctors talked to me about Hemalitic Anemia...this is a new one to me....they also mentioned something about anti-bodies clinging to his playlets making them stick together....so they are looking into these things....has anyone heard of this.... I have wanted to get on the computer and do some research but between no time and then the computer acting up for 2 days....this is the first I have had any time to get on...and I am supposed to be paying the bills...lol....oh well I will get to that next.... so if anyone has any info please let me know.... There is also some talk about an infusion to help his poor bones....his dexas are very bad...this 20 yr old guy has the bones of an old lady....not good....so they are looking into that being of some help.... well thats it for now... I do want to thank everyone for thinking of us while we were gone....and all the emails to us..... take care and talk soon Luanne Ty's mom PS....we finally found some help with college....when I orginally called back in the beginning of his freshman yr they just pushed me from one office to another... no help.... Ty went this yr...and we have found an office that will help him....makingĀ college alittle more gentle for him when he misses so much...actually making the professors accountable to their student.... So ....it seems that colleges just don't want to hear from the parents...the kids have to do it all.... so Ty is looking in this and hopefully he will get some assistance....YIPPPPEEE... Guest guest
Hello Jocelyne, Welcome to Life Lift. I am so happy that you are here with us. I loved your message. Thank you for taking the time to write it. As for the count to three it is a short count just while you sniff up. It does not need to be very long at all. The other steps should all be done slowly and very concise but the sniff is simple and quick. The natural face lift can be done two ways. I usually do it after I have done my Life Lift breaths so I can focus on the face work. After doing all of the Life Lift breaths your body is flooded with oxygen so the pressure you put on your face points will draw the oxygen to your face. You can also do the Life Lift breaths at the same time you do your face lift if you want to but you will not be able to do the work that requires you to work around your mouth while doing your Life Lift breaths. Either way is fine. To help you keep your shoulders relaxed, try this; Cross your arms across your chest with your elbows pointing down toward the floor. Put your hands on each shoulder, left hand on right shoulder, right hand on left shoulder. Begin the steps of your Life Lift breaths and hold your shoulders down with your hands. When you get into the " lift " pull your hands against your shoulders. This is actually a good workout for your arms and your back too. Try this while sitting in a chair and press your abdomen in as if you are trying to press your stomach into your back. Pull your shoulders down with your hands. Let me know if this helps. Well, you've all shamed me into getting started with my Life Lift video. It is now officially out of the wrapper. :-D I started in on Sunday, and for the most part, am enjoying it and can already feel things toning up. The breath is easy to do, and I don't feel like I am coughing up a lung (like I sometimes did with BF). Some of the positions are easier and seem to hit the target area better than some of the BF poses. For the first time, I can do the pretzel correctly. This was one of the BF exercises, but I never quite seemed to get the right stretch. Now for the questions... When Rashelle is explaining the LL breath, she says to count to three after the inhale, but later, while doing the exercises, it seems that there isn't much of a pause between the inhale and the exhale. Am I missing something?? Second, I am having trouble relaxing my shoulders when doing the lift. I am aware that it is happening, and have tried to relax, but then the lift relaxes as well (which I don't want). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the lift to work more independently?? Lastly, when doing the face lift, are you supposed to be doing the LL breaths at the same time? Thanks for any help you can give me. ~~ Jocelyne
Guest guest
Hi, Here is the link for the Silicone Kids group: SiliconeKids/ I'm sorry to hear that you are having immune system issues that seem to originate from the implants. When you mentioned that you are still slightly lactating, is that from the original pregnancy in 2006? Or did you start up again unexpectedly? Hormones can get very unbalanced with breast implant related diseases, and for some there is estrogen dominance, for others it is thyroid related, adrenal related, thymus, and more. The hormone system is like a finely tuned orchestra that can be greatly disrupted with the chemicals present in the implants. It is hard to say what is causing your achiness, and it is probably even harder to say what any doctor might be able to tell you about it. Some women have found that upon explant, they have larger breasts than they had before implant. There may be some tissue growth with the estrogen related chemicals...hard to say. How is your son? Are you considering explant? We hope and pray for the best for you. Patty > > Greetings all, > > > > 1.)Does anyone have the link for the Silicone Kids website? > > > > 2.)Also, got implanted in 2003 & after the birth of my son in 2006 developed joint pain, borderline lupus, and mild sjogrens. Never had any problems with the implants themselves (just the immune system- which still is bad). Now, for the past couple of weeks my breasts have been kind of achy. Still slightly lactating so I thought it might have something to do with that, although I've never had that problem before. > Just a dull very mild achiness. (and no, I'm not pregnant). Any ideas on this? > > > > Thanks > > (from Texas) >
