Guest guest
For those who want to check out the research behind this weight loss protocol, please do read everything you can find! And remember to follow the MONEY! Usually the FDA does not approve anything that will take away money from those who are making the most. So, if weight loss is a big $$$$$ industry, would they approve something that is quite simple and effective? I don't know. But Dr. Simeon's and Trudeau must be onto something... http://www.hcgobesity.org/ > > Just wanted to share that I've been doing the HCG diet, which was shared with me by a friend who has had implants for about 20 years. > > I checked it out...it's safe, it appears~ > > You can read about this diet by doing a google on " HCG diet " or if you want a book, read Trudeau's book " The Weight Loss Cure " . Guest guest
Congratulations on finding a program that works for you. Weight issues are very challenging. I went from 175 to 140 comfortably by following the information from the book Eat to Live, by Dr. Fuhrman. I eat 3 huge and delicious meals per day. The basics and some links to yummy recipes are found here; http://www.fatfreevegan.com/etl.shtml Hugs of support, M.
Guest guest
Here is my update on my experience with the HCG diet. I have decided this morning to stop using the HCG. I will try to keep going on the 500 calorie diet. My reasons for discontinjing the HCG at this point is because of renewal of some of my old symptoms, such as tingling in my fingers and legs. It is NOT a welcome sign! I also have a headache this morning that is not normal for me. I talked to my sister yesterday who has been on this diet for over 30 days and she says she feels GREAT. She has lost almost 20 lbs so far. My other friend who has implants has done wonderfully on this diet and has lost almost 30 lbs, and feels wonderful. She has implants, and no illness associated with them. But, I, on the other hand, always seem to be the one to suffer. So, whatever is going on with me right now is not welcome and I am not sure what it is, but I do know that I am not going to use the HCG at this point. Here's what I know based on limited research: those with lupus don't usually do well with hormone therapy, or pregnancy. However, those with MS and MS-like symptoms seem to do well with hormone therapy, and feel great during their pregnancies. I think most women who have weight issues and NO lupus history would probably do OK. Those with lupus must proceed with caution! I'll keep you posted if I decide it was my infrared sauna or something else that was making me feel not so good, but at this point I'm suspecting the HCG, and wondering if I have ANY latent lupus issues that are playing a part in this current issue.
