Lee,Good luck to you. I too have a big lump in that area, but I think it's a lipoma. (fat/chemical deposit) I've heard of implants shirting around. Do you think your valve moved up to that area? Do you have salines? (I guess so, considering this is a saline support group) Saline implants have valves which are hard. I've heard all the horror stories and have had two friends go through hell. I was always the "healthy one", but now I may not be so lucky. Well, it feels good to talk. I hope that your results come out ok........will keep you in my

prayers.....

I would say, even when you get good results on monday, this

is a wake up call for you to be sure you are on a good healthy

diet with many live foods, and probiotics, homemade are best

they will set up your intestines for a continued good immune

system.....

Please keep us posted on how you are doing !

10 yr old implants are a mess ready to happen, so I would

consider removal at some point.... I know......mine are 10, and

I havent been able to remove them because my heart has been

too weak. Now its a bit stronger but I have to have a new

pacemaker/defibrillator put in before I can have the surgery.....

Hi Ballerina !

All implants are silicone............just filled with different things.....

You are so smart to mention the valves, there were many that

have faulty valves and a bi-directional flow problem allowing

nasty organisms to flow in and out of the implants......causing

very hazardous conditions in there.........

Dede!!!I was happy to read that you might be in good health enough to get your implants addressed! I should have written, "saline filled". I need to add that I absolutely recognize the lie in saline-filled implants being "safer" than silicone-filled.It's safer to run straight into traffic unblindfolded than blindfolded, but who wants to run into traffic?It's a tragedy the way they sell these things. I'm sorry to hear about your lupus flare...bummer. How long do they usually

last, and what happens?

I hope it's a short one too. I didn't realize that you were struggling with

lupus. ARe you on prednisone at all, or have you been able to get off of it?
