Guest guest
Lee, glad you got that off your chest ! so, did they loose the data due to computer error in the machine they use ? or the written report ? or did they lable images wrong ? Very strange..... I worked in the field a long time, and know that this can happen......even dotting your I's and crossing your T's........I would insist on a radiologist going over it while you are there............that, they can do ! and they should do, since they lost the first one........... Wishing you wellness....... Dede OMG - they lost my mammogram data! I discovered a small lump (I posted about it on Jan 6) and had a mammogram (VERY painful this time). I was supposed to talk with my doc yesterday, but he never got back to me after 3 separate calls. Meanwhile, I waited and paced around last nite and today... Then, after I badgered them all day today (literally calling 4 times) they finally told me the imaging facility LOST MY DATA!!! AAARRRRGGGHH!!! How do you lose such important data!!! I'm soooooo upset you can't imagine. I've calmed down and made peace knowing I need to have another one again tomorrow - and then wait AGAIN for the results. My husband's coming home early - but I truly think he'd murder the person who lost my data. OK, that felt good. Thanks all for listening. Guest guest
Lee-Yikes. As bad as that is, it is better than them unknowingly mixing up your data with someone else's, and giving you their results. Getting your own results later than anticipated is better than getting someone else's entirely!I do feel for you, and the re-do will certainly not be a joy, but you'll get through this. And as I'm sure you've been told, pain in the area is actually a good indicator that the condition is benign.Good luck to you,BallerinaFrom: leefortenna <leefortenna@...> Sent: Tue, January 12, 2010 4:25:03 PMSubject: OMG - they lost my mammogram data!
