Guest guest Posted January 13, 2002 Report Share Posted January 13, 2002 Hi, I have heard that one should try and avoid Niacin because it can cause flushing in an individual. I've never really changed my diet due to my rosacea, but now I'm trying to look into every possible cause. Tonight,I looked at the bread I had in my parents pantry and it has Niacin in it. Cereal had Niacin in it, Waffels had Niacin in it, Muffins has Niacin in it, tons of things had Niacin in them. What can I eat? I'm already very skinnny and I actually wanted to start increasing my calorie intake. Is there some kind of shake that one can get lots of protein or calories in without " hurting " his or her skin. I was thinking about consuming 140 grams of protein a day because I am going to start a workout routein and want to gain more mass. Can anyone help me with any part of this problem?
