Guest guest
Hi Jeff, I go to Dr. -Lat. I've gone for 3 photoderm treatments so far. I looked into both of these doctors also and I really liked the fact that Dr. does her own treatments as opposed to Baxt who often has a tech perform them. I really like her a lot. I think she does a lot of work for the $. She spends a lot of time with me when I go there. Honestly, I haven't seen much of an improvement yet - I just went for my 3rd treatment Friday so I really need to sit with this one and see if I could tell a difference. But even if in the end I don't see a difference, I would highly recommend her. She has a lot of rosacea patients and every time I'm there she's always talking about Dr. Bitter Sr protocol and how she stays in touch with him often. She is also familiar with Dr. Nase and seems very " up " on everything that he says a photoderm dr should be " up " on. She is very compassionate also. The main thing I'm trying to control is my flushing as my rosacea isn't very bad and she's done everything that I have read she should be doing. She's constantly explaining the machine she has and the settings that she is using because she genuinely wants you to understand what she is doing and why she is doing it which I really like. Anyway, Good luck and feel free to contact me if you have any questions, Donna
Guest guest
Hello, I've been off accutane for 6 months, so I'm in the process of choosing derms for Photoderm. These two are closest to me, and they're both trained by Bitter Sr: Saida Heyman Baxt MD Paramus, NJ Zenda B. -Lat MD Saddle River, NJ I want to know as much as possible about them before making my choice. Have any of you done photofacials with either of them? Is there any particular reason to go with one over the other? Is one more experienced? Any horror stories, good stories, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -jeff PS: One of them isn't a member of the American Medical Association. Is this necessarily a bad thing? As far as I'm concerned I want the one most experienced with Photoderm, regardless of whether they belong to an organization, but should I still take that into consideration?
