Count me in too :-) I've not been able to make sense of it, given that

cea is supposed to be a disorder wherein an abnormal amount of blood

flows through the facial vessels, thereby releasing body heat.

It's nice to know that there are other ppl out there with the same

symptoms.

I have a cold nose, usually during the AM hours. In the afternoon, I got a

rosacea flare. My derm said the cold nose is not rosacea - rosacea is heat.

My derm sent me for an ANA test - it was positive. The positive ANA means a

connective tissue disorder is present. What it means for my rosacea is that

I am not a candidate for photoderm. So, I had V-Beam laser to treat the

rosacea.

The only time I have a cold nose is when I'm in cold or windy

weather, or am very cold!

I do, however, have a naturally low body temperature. My normal body

temperature is 97.3. That has caused some raised eyebrows in the

past, even among nurses - a nurse freaked out on me when I was

pregant because she said my body temp was too low. I explained that

98.6 is an AVERAGE and that some people are normally higher and some

are normally lower.

The last couple of months, when I've had my temperature taken it has

been hovering around 96.5 - 96.7. That's low even for me. I'm

always cold and when people touch me they think I'm cold. Apparently

it can indicate slow metabolism. My blood flow seems to be ok, since

I give plasma every month without a problem, other than I have to be

covered with blankets. I have been told to cut out the complex carbs

and refined sugars (I know, I know), and to get more cardiovascular

exercise.

So I need to work on my diet and exercise! What else is new?
