Guest guest
a, I haven't been to Kroger since I mentioned the bacon. I promise I will look when I go. It's not a Kroger brand or a Private Selection brand. It is some other company. It's in our health food frozen section. You can use conventional bacon once a week. Elaine allowed this for people eating out like those who like to go for Sunday bacon'n eggs or brunch. I have come to like the sugar free bacon much better and sometimes add a drop of honey after it's cooked. Carol F.
Guest guest
Carol, Quite a few of the ASD kids really cannot tolerate the nitrates. My younger son breaks out in hives. It would be easier if we could just use the sugar-free bacon that's in stores now (because of Atkins I would imagine). Many of the bacon companies are making sugar-free bacon now. Unfortunately, my kids cannot eat it. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
