Guest guest
My wife and I refer to them as my " Morphine Dreams " . Anytime they adjust my meds or hit me hard with them in the Horsepital I end up with these really disturbing dreams. The biggest problems are that they seem so real. So, nope, you ain't alone. Say..... " Morphine Dreams " sounds like a good name for a heavy metal CD doesn't it? Guest guest
Lily, It's not that they are insecure at work. Just last time they upped the pain meds, I messed up a project because I wasn't thinking too clearly and they don't want that to happen again. Though I think it was more because they tried to up the Elavil at the same time and my body just couldn't do both since they both have sleepiness as a side effect. They aren't modifying the Elavil this time. At lease now I know I'm not the only one with disturbing dreams from the medications (horrible thought to feel that way). Woke up again last night with one. Urg. And they wonder why I'm waking up 2 to 3 times a night. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Patti, actually I had the bad dreams on Vicodin too. I didn't used to have them with the Methadone. But they started when they increased the medication this time. Ugh. Mine are lifelike and scary too, that's why they are so disturbing. I have the Oxycodone for my breakthrough meds. They just aren't long lasting enough to help through the day. They had to increase the methadone because I ran through my last prescription of Oxycodone at the maximum dosage. It's the breakthrought medicine so they don't really want me taking it every day, just occasionally when the pain gets through the methadone. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Thanks Chuck. They are just so lifelike and okay at first then they take all these weird turns and such, usually something gorey and scary, but lifelike at the same time. Usually with people I know and they wake me up and I have to sit and pet my cats for awhile to calm down. Since I'm alone a lot, I can't wake someone else up to talk to me very often. Makes me feel like I'm 8 years old again and clutching my stuffed animals, but instead the animals are my kitties. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@...
