need input / encouragement

Hi,

I've been a member of this group for several yrs. but have not posted

in a while. I've had 4 of the 5 photoderm treatments my derm

recomended and am discouraged. After my first couple treatments I had

vast improvement in flushing and general redness. Since my 3rd and

4th treatments I seem to have regressed. Getting hot flushes again. I

should tell you this coincided w/ weather getting cooler-having to

turn on heat. My main trigger is heat sources: central heat, auto

heaters, space heaters & fireplaces. Have any of you had regression

during photoderm followed by permenant improvement???

Also, about a week ago a bump came on my nose. Not red, nothing in

it...just a small lump. I'v never had much flushing in my nose. It

des not look like a pimple. What's up?

This morning I woke up hot, flushed, and with an itchy lump (about

1/8 " ) in the center of my eyelid. It looks like a bite. Is it a stye?

What do I do? I feel like Job in the Bible. One thing at a time I can

handle but all this hitting at once is just too much.

Final question: have any of you gotten good results w/ Doxycycline? I

have some 100mg tabs I could take if it might help. Any input or

advice GREATLY appreciated,
