Guest guest
Well, I'm going bald here and the only help my doc would give me was to recommend Rogaine. I've been reluctant to try it because my scalp constantly feels like it's burning already, and I hear it makes that problem worse for many people. Anyhoo, I was wondering if, when applied to the scalp, Rogaine could affect the rosacea on my face (assuming that's what I have, which I'm not sure about). I know it's supposed to improve circulation and mimics the effects of nitric oxide. Any insights? Beliala
Guest guest
The feedback I received from my Rogaine post seemed evenly divided as to whether it adversely affected people's rosacea symptoms. For now I'm holding off and might end up ordering some hormonal medications from overseas instead (it sucks not having a doctor who takes this stuff seriously). Thanks everyone who responded! If I do end up using it, I'll be sure to pay close attention to how my face reacts. Beliala

Guest guest
I don't know much about the Rogaine but I do have a little experience with loosing hair. You could never tell my looking at me because my hair is curly so it makes it look like I have more but it seemed like my hair was falling out too much each day when I would wash it and has always been thin and when I took antibiotics for my face and eye my hair didn't fall out near as much. I attribute it to maybe my scalp was inflammed also along with my eye and face thus making it hard for the hair to stay on my head almost like the circulation was getting cut off to my scalp. I don't take antibiotics anymore but my hair on my head still seems to be staying put better. I'm not saying that is what's happening in your case but it seemed to be in mine.
