That can be such a disheartening experience. After all, you are supposed to

be able to trust the doctors who are caring for you. And, even more so, when

you are in the hospital, the doctors on your team should be speaking the same

language. I am so glad that you let your voice be heard. It is sad that you

do in deed suffer from Chronic Pancreatitis, but if you are symptomatic, you

certainly need to have the supporting diagnosis, and receive the appropriate

treatment.

I don't necessarily like having a " bad " doctor list, but do send Dr.

Wren's

contact information so I can have it on file. It will have a warning for any

other potential patient to take caution prior to acquiring his services. Be

sure and add the GI doctor (I didn't get his name in the email) to the list

of good GI's found in the databank. Ask myself or one of the reps to help you

with the data input if you need help.

The reason I keep encouraging members to take an active role in inputting

data and building databases and files is to empower you to take ownership of

your participation in the PAI. We want every voice heard.
