After all, you are supposed to be able to trust the doctors who are caring for you. And, even more so, when you are in the hospital, the doctors on your team should be speaking the same language. I am so glad that you let your voice be heard. It is sad that you do in deed suffer from Chronic Pancreatitis, but if you are symptomatic, you certainly need to have the supporting diagnosis, and receive the appropriate treatment. I don't necessarily like having a " bad " doctor list, but do send Dr. Wren's contact information so I can have it on file. It will have a warning for any other potential patient to take caution prior to acquiring his services. Be sure and add the GI doctor (I didn't get his name in the email) to the list of good GI's found in the databank. Ask myself or one of the reps to help you with the data input if you need help. The reason I keep encouraging members to take an active role in inputting data and building databases and files is to empower you to take ownership of your participation in the PAI. We want every voice heard. Karyn , RN Founder / President Pancreatitis Association International
