Guest guest
A family member told me about this list and I too have rosacea so.... I have found that my rosacea has become progressively worse over the last four- five years. I am in my twenties so I have had blushing flsuhing problems for about 20 years, as long as I remember. At primary school I actually used to get sent home because I looked " extremely hot " at the time I used to play on it and ofcourse couldn't have cared less if I looked like a beetroot, especially of I got sent hoem from school! Ok well during teenage years I just wore make up. Now I cannot tolerate any products. As soon as I walk into a place that is centrally heated - or anywhere with dry warm air I immediately develop a very sore, red, flakey papular face. It happens in seconds. I have also been diagnosed as having edema connected to rosacea. It's actually the feeling which is like a stinging tight burning feeling , that then induces throbbign and pain. I don't even need to go bright red for this happen it's just in a warm dry heated room- without fail. I appreciate all these topics have been discussed before but I was just wondering if anyone has managed to combat the symtoms I have been suffering from succesfully. I know that I always blush and flush , going beetroot is something I have gotten used to but it's all the other symtoms that I have I am so restricted and would just think oh s*d it I'll go out like this but it's that horrible skin stinging , tight feeling that reminds me of how terrible I look. As I am typing this I am in a cool room and despite a little flare and rosacea doesn't seem too bad. When in certain environment someone could honestly be rubbing sandpaper on my skin - billions of papules even thinking about it now makes me shudder, oh I can't put the feeling (physical)into words. Does anyone else react so quickly like this? Has anyone overcome this? __________________________________________________
