Guest guest
sounds like we have been on similar journeys with similar results. I have found massage and meditation help me calm to rest and sleep better. Spent thousands of dollars on herbs with no results. Melatonin and MSM don't seem to help. Just started a candida diet, have done this twice over the last eight years after taking antibiotics. Finally been accepted into a sleep study June 4. Know the lack of sleep is the main problem. Guest guest
The only thing that works for me anymore is a healthy diet; fat-free, as sugar-free as possible (can't give up my ice cream LOL), low salt, and NO SPICES!!!! I also drink lots of purified water and don't drink coffee or carbonated drinks. I have tried everything else and it either doesn't work or gives me toxic side effects. I even just recently went off my antidepressant (uh oh) because it was giving me scary side effects. I believe that we folks have very sensitive systems and can't tolerate drug therapy at all. I was on practically every " healing " vitamin and herb known to man, and it was just a bunch of money thrown down the drain. In fact. when I stopped gagging on handfuls of vitamins every day, my IBS went away!!!!!!!!! Just my two cents... Guest guest
Lynne, I took can't take lots of meds as for anti-depresent I have a reaction to every one I just quit taking them but really need something. I also find that no eating sugars and drinking caffiene has helped with the pain some and the anxiety. But the depression is very much there!! That is why I have started a lowcarb diet because it actually eliminates that stuff I don't need. And there is lots of recipes that are actually good as I keep testing them out-LOL!! shirley Re: natural healing The only thing that works for me anymore is a healthy diet; fat-free, as sugar-free as possible (can't give up my ice cream LOL), low salt, and NO SPICES!!!! Guest guest
I have read in several books that FM/CFIDS goes in remission with alot of people during pregnancy. I don't know - I just read this. It was either in " What your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Fibromyalgia " R. Amand MD or " Chronic Fatigue Syndrone, Fibromyalgia & Other Invisible Illnesses " Katrina Berne PhD. (not trying to plug in an ad for these books - just relaying info.) Cinda Re: natural healing I agree with you Lynne. A healthy diet helps a lot and some aerobic execerise. I try to walk everyday, but some days that isn't possible. I take a multi-vitamin every morning, but I can't take herbs because of my heart condition. They all make me pass out. I've made a lot of diet changes. I've cut out most bleached food such as white bread and white rice. It has made a lot. At first I thought my kids would complain, but I was wrong. I also have started seeing a chiropractor and he specializes in fibro. I have a question....My husband and I want to have one more child and I was wondering how pregnancy affected fibro. ---------------------------------

Guest guest
Does anyone know of any natural healing methods to help with pancreatitis? What about the pseudocysts??? Is there ANYTHING that can be done to help these go away? The docotors are not letting my mom go until hers is gone. She feels really good otherwise but is getting so discouraged thinking she may be there for ever. On Monday, her amalayse had gone down a little from about 800 to about 500. Today however, they are up again to about 600. She is SOOOOOOO discouraged and thinks she's going to have to spend the rest of her life in the hospital just laying there accomplishing NOTHING. Any advice from anyone????
