Guest guest
Hi, I did find the definition of sodium hydroxide at a Begoun's Cosmetics Cop site. (She has an online dictionary, and I've pasted the link to it below.) sodium hydroxide. The scientific name for lye. It is a highly alkaline ingredient used to modulate the pH of a product. It is also used as a cleansing agent in some cleansers. http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dictionary/dictindex.htm When I was using the Tolerin cleanser, it seemed to help calm my skin too. Perhaps the percentage of sodium hydroxide in the cleanser is very small. Take care, Matija
