Guest guest
I am cautious; I think it might be a good idea, and if anyone asks you about it, just reassure them that it is to protect your child, not the other way a round, even though in fact, both are true. Just an idea. Love, and have a good and safe journey, n Rojas wcf, mom of 3, 1 wcf--all adults--not sure about Mom here!

Guest guest
We flew last Christmas and my son didn't wear any and he was fine. Also ask your child how he feels about it sometimes the older they get they tend to get embarass than smaller children.Just my 2 cents. Guest guest
I am sorry we didn't reply. Did it even come through the first time? Anyway, my aunt is a nurse practitioner and she and her hubby swear by Zicam. It is a zinc nasal spray that works for colds. Start taking it a few days before you fly and continue with it until a few days after. Our cf doc. doesn't care for homeopathic meds., but she has had no problem with us using this on Patti (19 months wcf). Guest guest
I have noticed that Ty tends to shy away from the mask in some situatuions. That's when his brother and I pull out our masks so he won't be the only different one ! We get alot of stares but hey we laugh it off and my child is " safe " ! Thanks for the feedback. Guest guest
Hi, I just thought of something after reading your post. For the younger ones, it might be a good idea (and fun) to decorate it with non-toxic paints, markers or stickers. They can even design their own. If they are a little shy about wearing them, this may be another way to motivate them.
