Guest guest
Hi, For those take HCl tablets or try Apple Cider vinegar and it doesn't help, you're not alone. I tried those, and all they did were sit in my stomach and cause more digestive problems. I do take a 1/2 tsp. of horseradish after every meal I eat at home, and it has helped relieve my stomach pain. I think it has helped me withstand the overheating trigger without getting a crop of papules. I read on Dr. Weil's site that he uses horseradish as a digestive aid. About digestive problems being the root cause of rosacea, I'm not really sure about that for myself. Could stomach problems possibly be a trigger for it, like overheating or facing cold winds, for some of us? Not everyone who has stomach problems has rosacea. Also, not everyone who gets overheated or faces really cold weather or uses harsh cleansers has it. However, if you are predisposed to having rosacea and if those triggers go off, your rosacea may show up or if already there get worse? Also, I know that the results of setting off triggers can accumulate and make rosacea much worse. If you are treating one of the triggers, like stomach problems, and set off another trigger, the result isn't as bad to your rosacea as say setting off a couple of triggers at the same time. I know what a disaster that is for me. Anyway, I'd thought I'd throw in my two cents on this. Take care, Matija
