Guest guest
hope everyone is having or has had a relaxing enjoyable weekend. My scalp has been acting up quite a bit lately and a recent plea for some suggestions has led me to the conclusion that perhaps part of my facial woes can be attributed to seb. I took 's advise about the selenium sulfide on the scalp and applied the advice plus the sulfide to my face as well. I left it there for 10 mintues and behold a small miracle. My face and scalp has far fewer flakes. So then, now I have a few questions regarding seb. 1. what causes seb. I mean did I do anything to cause this over growth of fungus or whatever seb is? Did I not cleanse my face properly or did I overuse a heavy moisturizer? 2. Can seb be cured so that I never get it again or is it something that i must keep under control by using selenium sulfide 3. Can the seb become immune to the selenium? So should I alternate? And with what? i tried Nizoral shampoo and the topical but neither was very effective and the tropical irritated my face whereas after 2 treatments of 10 minutes each with the selenium sulfide , my face is NOT irritated. No red. No tingle. I did e-mail similar questions to Dr. Sy but she is a very busy lady so I do not expect an immediate answer. I will surely post her reply when I receive it. Thanks once again for being there for me Take care
