Let me introduce myself. My name is Angie, and I am researching the

topic of cystic fibrosis for a class I am taking at a local

college. I would like to be able to post and ask questions

regarding my research from people who are experiencing and living

with these situations. Before I do that, I would like to know that

everyone reading these posts are okay with that. I would not want

to invade a space that some may hold very personal. If most

everyone feels it is okay for me to post questions, just let me

know. I will check in a couple of days to make sure that it doesnt

seems to be a problem.

Thank you for your consideration

Angie

Hi Angie,

welcome and thanks for your interest in Cystic Fibrosis. I am

thankful for every person, who wants to learn something about the

disease. Feel free to ask questions, I don't think that people see

you as an invader. But it's nice from you to care about our feelings.

May I suggest that you sign your posts in a way, that other readers

know that you are not a CFparent.

Peace

Torsten, dad of Fiona 5wcf

Hi Angie,

I am a parent of two girls with CF and I think it is GREAT that you are

researching about CF we need everyone to know what it is like to live with CF

and how close they are getting to a cure. Maybe more people will be willing

to help find a cure if they only knew more about it. I'm from Iowa. Deb A

This is fine with me, Angie - it sounds like you will

be respectful and thorough - that's all I'd ever ask .

Hi Angie,

I totally agree with Torsten. If your research can

help people understand what people living with CF go

through and the hardships of this disease are, then by

all means, go ahead and ask away.

I would like to request in advance a copy of your

research paper when you are done with it so that I may

post in on my website.

As Torsten said, thank you for caring.
