Guest guest Posted September 5, 2001 Report Share Posted September 5, 2001 Seeing that petelex2001 (thank you, and I look forward to reading it!) posted the article regarding SSRIs and flushing, I wanted to post an article from the science journal Nature which talks about the discovery of body-specific VEGF. For example, scientists at the company Genentech found a VEGF that was specifically for the female endrocrine system. They think it might help grow tumors faster in that area. To make a bit of a stretch, perhaps there is a VEGF factor specifically for the face which causes rosacea. Here is the link.
