Is anyone doing tube feedings or liquid diets with SCD? This has become

our most recent situation and I'd love to email with other parents doing

this as well. I know in the past there have been a few posts about

this. Not many, but a couple! Thanks for any input! Feel free to

email me privately. Thanks Deb

Hi Deb:

I was so excited when I read your message. My child (, 11 years

old, autistic, UC since Feb. 05, SCD since June 2005, no meds.) He did

wonderful until Oct. 05 that he got Clostridium Difficile, it was so

bad that caused a clostridium difficile colitis flare up. He spent a

month at the hospital with a pancolitis. Today, It's been a week that

we are back home, he is on 40mg. of prednisone, 50 mg. of 6MP, and

2000 cal. of TPN tube feeding (12 hours day). I am doing liquid diet

as well. Feel free to contact me, maybe we can help each other to get

out of this stage. Thanks,

Ana
