Support yourself? Although we are in the 2000's now and yes, women work and

can support themselves (including me) the bible does say it is his job to

take care of you (and yes, ours to take care of our husbands in other ways)

but he is the head of household according to God. For better for worse for

richer for poorer...when he married you he agreed to that. If you were 100%

healthy and then got hit by a car and couldn't work again would he threaten

to leave? I don't know you but that really hit a nerve with me whn I read

your post. All of us have enough to deal with either preparing for surgery

or working on our changing life after surgery that we don't need to deal with

threats that our spouse will leave cause things aren't exactly how they want

them to be. I will pray for you (and get off of my tirade now..lol).

I will pray for you and your husband. Pray for you to be strong

enough to get through the trials of life as an obese person (as I

know them) and pray for your husband to have mercy on you. May God

convict your husbands thoughts about you. Let the Lord fold you

close to his heart where you can cry out to Him and may he ease your
