The question is (and I have emailed them), " How long has the cheese been aged? "

Even

with natural, legal ingredients a cheese must age at least 30 days so the

lactose can be

comsumed by the bacterial culture. Lactose is a milk sugar which will irritate

the gut.

That is why we incubate our SCD yogurt for 24-28 hours. It is also why

commercial store

bought yogurt won't do except as a " starter " for homemade yogurt. I'll post the

aging time

for Babybel when i get their reply.

Hi ,

Under the Mini-Babybels:

The Mild cheddar looks fine as does the Gouda (that's an occasional

use cheese). The light cheddar is not legal.

As for the Mini babybel Bonbel and The Mini Babybel original it

depends on how long they are aged for. I think Carol has asked the

company.

The other's : wedges, cheezebits, gourmet cheesebites etc. are

illegal.
