*please help*! -- pregnancy and p/derm

hello group,

could someone *please* help me with this question: how soon

after pregnancy is it safe to have p/derm?

i'm told by several doctors here in sydney that it's ok to have it

anytime after delivery, and indeed one says it is also safe during

pregnancy, but doctors do not do it during that time to avoid

claims of liability should something go wrong with the pregnancy

itself.

as i' ve posted before, i've had a disastrous p/derm treatment

which has worsened my condition and which was done 7 weeks

after pregnancy. i was not nursing so my hormones should have

settled.

has anyoe had a similar experience? and did the problem

resolve?

the setting used for treatment were pretty high, but within the

range that others have had (thank you so much to those that

have helped with my quetions re settings). i'm desparate and

baffled as to why i have ended up with severe redness and

flaring on the area that was treated. -- almost like a rhinophyma.

i'd hate to think i ruined it by going for treatment at that time, so

any reassurnce would be greatly appreciated.

sorry for contantly posting about my troubles, but your support is

getting me though, as i'm otherwise bereft and feeling

hopeless..
