Guest guest
, I hope your stay in the hospital will be a short one and that they help you get some relief soon. I know about missing your children. I have a 10 year old daughter and she cries when I have to go into the hospital. My mother in law has been a great help to watch her while my husband is at work. Guest guest
Dear , I'm so sorry that you have to wear a PIC line, but I'm so pleased that you were able to enlist the help of your GI, and that you're getting assistance and addressing the current CP trauma. It has obviously been causing a great deal of trouble for you for a while now - I'm pleased for you that you're getting some help with it. I hope that it works, and works very quickly. I know you'd rather than go to the tea party with your daughter than send your mom, but at least your mom is available to go - they'll have a lot of fun, but they'll both be thinking of and praying for you; and their prayers will be answered, because you'll be getting better and healthier. Good luck and good health to you , you're a very strong and brave woman. God bless you as you heal, and may you heal with miraculous speed. Peace, Terry in KC << Hello to my pancreatitis pals, My GI doctor is hospitalizing me today. The hospital will not have a bed available until 3:00 p.m. today. They will be inserting a picc line, doing a CAT scan, and doing some other tests on me to see the current status of my pancreas. Since I haven't been able to eat or drink without increased nausea, vomiting, diahrrea, etc., I have lost up to 7 pounds. The picc line will only be a temporary solution. The doctor will be giving me TPN via my picc line in the hospital and at home until I can get over this pancreatitis bout and handle food again. I hate to go back into the hospital. My daughter Christy, whom is 6 years old and in kindergarten is having a Mother's Day Tea Party tomorrow at her school for mothers. She invited me to the tea party and I can't be there for her. My mom is going to go in my place. My daughter asked me if it was okay for grandma to go to the tea party. I told her that it is okay and that grandma is also her mother too. My mom has been there for my daughter Christy and my 7 year old son when I'm sick and in the hospital. She also helps my husband take care of the children. You know there is nothing like a mother's touch. The children really miss me when I'm not home. I'm glad that will be having something done so that he doesn't have to deal with this chronic pancreatitis ever again. You are all in my prayers. I will contact you after I am discharged from Holy Spirit Hospital. I love you all. >>
