I'm down with a toothache, and scheduled for a root canal (my third) next week. I don't believe the hoops I'm having to jump through on this. I had to get a credit card for such things, so the endodontist's office knows they will get paid. It's like buying a car or a house. The only endodontist our dental insurance could name, who's a " preferred provider, " is booked solid for a month and a half, so I have to go to a non-perferred. I will appeal the higher co-pay, but I'm not holding my breath on the outcome. Dori... " If I haven't grown up by now, I'm never going to. As I posted I started my first visit two weeks ago and then the next one and the next in a few weeks. So I can really sympathise wth the pain. I swear I didnt know were to turn. It is very expensive, but I have paid a bit this first visit then as long as its all paid by the end. We dont have or need private insurance so we just pay as we go.
