Tim,

so glad they awarded you the benefits. Gives hope to those

of us who are currently fighting for disability benefits.

That is great news. I am happy for you. I know that it is going to be hard

for me because I am only 32. But I have realized that I can't work anymore.

I am so happy for you.

GREAT NEWS !

Hi All, Hope everyone is doing well, or at least as well as you can. My SSDI

Attorney called me with some GREAT NEWS! The Judge in my case has awarded me

benefits. And, I will not have to attend a hearing, as he made his decision

based on the medical evidence in my file. I guess it's what they call an "

on the record decision " . Also, only being 35 yrs old I'm told that's not

real common. I feel very fortunate. So for anyone else out there with CP,

that has been denied SSDI (young or old), It's true you have to FIGHT, FIGHT

& FIGHT some more! They my not " want " to give it to you, but they " will " !

Have A good one! Tim

Glad to hear the great news!

Its nice to hear that things like that do happen for

some of us, eh? I got my ssdi after a two year wait

and several docs telling me that I was fine to work,

and two hearings. So I am really happy that you

did'nt have to go throught that long drawnout process.

Well, you take care and don't celebrate to hard!!!
