We are in the process of enrolling him in an integrated play group that meets once a week , 2 hrs long. (Also , he is homeschooled- he has most of his primary vaccinations up to 18 months, and we have since discontinued them, so he is missing a few boosters) Anyway I got a huge stack of papers to fill out, and of course , a vaccination form. For a 2 hr play group ...good grief....Anyway, do I just tell them my son is chelating, and therefor can't get any shots right now? (assuming this is correct) It is not my intention to give him any further vaccines.....(i am not in a state where philosophical waivers are allowed) =======================================================
Guest guest
Can you just have titers drawn for immunity. If he was vaccinated already with regular shots and an infant and toddler, he might simply be immune and not need the boosters for any of these. I'm not sure exactly what vaccinations your child has received. I have had this done with my sons. I dont let either one of them get vaccinated anymore, not for a few years now. My older son is autistic. I've had their titers drawn and they showed immunity, therefore, they dont need boosters. Hope that helps. Guest guest
pjand3kids- You can do a religious exemption when you've already had some shots, yes. You don't need to explain it, but the answer is that you changed your religious beliefs since the time of the original shots. *** nicolimom- Can you just have the dr fill in the shots that your child has already had...ship that off to the playgroup...and see what they come back with? I had to fill one out for the local soccer team here, and they accepted it without issue. > > > > What about a plain old religous exemption? >
