Guest guest
Accutane is a very tricky medication. Low dosages (10mg) of accutane might help, but high dosages (40-60mg) that are normally given for acne treatment can make your cea worse. Accutane dries out the skin that in itself can cause real bad flushes. Accutane also dries out your eyes. Having been on accutane twice for my acne, I have to say I've had some of my worse flushes while on that medication. I can still remember, one accutane relted eposode that happened to me. I was sitting in a class and all of a sudden I started feeling real hot, my classmates began wondering whether i was feelin ok. When I went to the mens room to take a look at my face, it was dark red almost purple. Now imaging someone with dried out irritated eyes, real red face, chapped bleeding lips, that was me for 3-4 months while on that medication. Not a lot of fun... Best of luck. --- Barbara bksond@...> wrote: > Hi Everyone: > > I was just got Dr. Nase's book and was wondering if > anyone of the > group had tried Isotretinoin as discussed in his > book? Guest guest
Hi. I was wondering if you kept taking the same does during your treatment or if you started on a high one and then went low? Thanks for the info on what happened to you.
