Guest guest
, I had endometriosis when I was in my late 20's and after all the hormone treatments and d&c's, I decided on my own that life was not worth all the pain, so I opted for a complete hysterectomy -- no ovaries, no nothing. Everthing went well and as soon as I could, I went out and bought the sexiest lingerie and prettiest sheets I could -- all white, of course. I did regret not being able to bear children, but realized there were a lot of children out there that would like me as a mom, if I decided to do that. I'm 54 now, have never ever regretted my decision, and really enjoy the children of my friends and family. I'm not trying to talk you into anything, but just giving you another perspective. I know it's a very difficult decision. But for me, at that time, I couldn't live my life to the fullest anyway, so I had to make some changes. I know you'll make the right decision for you -- good luck and I'll be thinking of you. Kathie

I have never had problems with infertility, but I do with depression... I would hate to see that get worse for you... but would hate to have to have you worry about the other things so much that it gets worse anyway. Anyway... Happy Birthday Lady!! Guest guest
, I'm so glad you found a GYN thats willing to help you and take the time to talk it over with you. Good luck, I hope whatever decision you make is okay. I understand about the infertility, in some ways. The blood thinners and other drugs I'm on make it impossible for me to have kids. I can't go off the blood thinners for even a day and the drugs would severly damage any fetus. (Plus I don't have a significant other to consider having kids with, but I always wanted kids someday).
