Guest guest
Just a note of THANKS for this board and to all who hang out here. I applied for SSDI and was denied, then I appealed the denial and was denied again. Being disappointed with the status of all of the case, I almost let time limit go by before contacting a lawyer for a judgment hearing. While this board has many values, one of the main values to me is the encouragement of others to and for our many problems. The caring and sharing attitude was very instrumental in getting me off my dead butt and continuing to pursue SSDI benefits. My lawyer and I were successful in receiving a favorable judgment and I now get SSDI benefits. Not too long before I would have qualified for SS benefits because of my age, but getting benefits now certainly does improve and solidify the financial aspect of my life. So again, " THANKS " to this board and it's people. And I offer my encouragement to any and all who pursue their SSDI. It can be a long and frustrating journey so you just have to keep plugging along until the end. Best Wishes, Poncho - GA

Guest guest
Poncho, Way to Go. I so glad that you won your case for SSDI. Your hard work has finally paid off. I'm sure this is a big releif. It was to me when I received it the first time and I didn't have to appeal it.
