Guest guest
Dear Heidi, I will take any luck that I can get at this point !! I did have a fairly peaceful evening and did not have to knock my family over to get to the bathroom. But my IV site smarts !!! (My goose egg hurts ! ) Today I went to work for 2 hours. I did pretty good so I will try to put in about 6 hours tomorrow. My dad had chest pain today so he has an appointment tomorrow at 8 am with the cardiologist. I will give you one guess who is taking him. If he would take all of his heart meds he wouldn't have chest pain, but that is another 5 hour story ! ( I just count to ten and move on ). I am off to Indy on Thursday night. I have an appointment with Dr. Lehman on Friday at 11:00 am. I have contacted Karyn and Tull and plan to meet with them if possible. It will be fun just to meet with them. For those of you that don't know, I got to meet Heidi when I was in South Carolina. We spent two days by the pool and had a great time. Heidi is a good egg and I am glad that I got the pleasure to meet her. So I am looking forward to meeting our founder of this group too. I am just going to have a consultation with Dr. Lehman. I am not doing the ERCP, not brave enough. Plus my pain level has decreased a bit. If I was in severe pain I would not have a choice. So I thank GOD at this point that I still have a choice. I am taking all of my CT films from last year plus the one I had done yesterday for him to look at. I just want to make sure my insides are not getting worse. I don't know how much longer I can go at this rate, but as long as my pain is tolerable and I can work and not cause damage to myself I will keep plugging away. I want to stay ahead as much as possible. I just wish when I had these spasms that they weren't so severe when they do happen........Mamma, those suckers hurt. called me the other day from her daughters cell phone. She is doing OK. Her ex husband had back surgery and is not working, thus her child support check is not as consistent. Her phone has been turned off but her daughter has a cell phone that she pays for with her babysitting money. So I was releived when she called. Her port looked a little swollen so she went to the doc but it was a false alarm. One of the twins is getting their tonsils out this week. She finally got her car fixed so she is able to drive about. So that was a good thing. She is still having pain but tolerable. The IV fluids have stopped for a while and she was starting to get a little bit of an appetite. I told her that I would let you all know how she was doing, especially Kimber. Better go for now, need to check on my brother in law who is ill. Keep your fingers crossed for me, he may start clinial trials at OSU tomorrow. Heidi, I hope that you are feeling better and that your pain is giving you a break. Tell Austin hello from us. I'll let you know about Indy when I get back, Take Care, Lily Re: To Lily > > > Better go for now, I want to enjoy this hour before I am confined > to the > > bathroom.
