Do i have cea?

Ive been reading digests from the group for a couple

of weeks and the support and information given to one

another is really encouraging. I just want to tell my

story of my developing symptoms and any feedback is

appreciated as i wonder if i actually have cea or

something else. Here goes

in 1994 i decided to get contact lenses, i wore them

for 6 months but couldnt take anymore they played hell

with my eyes. From this moment i noticed my eyes

weren't as lubricated, not only this but my nose had

also become very dry and started to go red and swell

up, i also started to get cysts on my head too.

Seven years on my eyes are very dry, there is a lot

of redness around them, my nose is quite swollen and

bulbous, not only this but now i can't seem to stomach

spicy foods now and on top of this im now allergic to

my dogs. My face gets so hot when im around them.

These two instances have developed within the last six

months. However i don't have the red cheeks and

forehead associated with cea, my skin does break

out very mildly now from eating hot and spicy foods.

Is it possible that one symptom causes the other and

the whole thing builds up. Before i wore contact

lenses i had not one problem with my skin and diet and

i feel this started the whole cycle.

I would like to get tear plugs for my eyes, im in the

UK and don't know how to go about it, i know it would

make a difference. Do i have to go the standard GP

route, im basically tired of doctors not listening to

me and giving me stuff that through this forum ive

realised have probably exacerbated my symptoms. Is

there anyway i can just go and find a private

dermatologist and eye doctor without have to deal with

the nonsense of my local doctor? I basically know

what could help me immensely it's just convincing

those that can help that i need that help.
