Hi everyone. My name is and I am 27 yrs old. I live in San CA. I have experienced two second trimester losses to what we know now is incompetent cervix. My first loss was at 17w1d, on Jan 8th 2003..My second was also at 17w1d, on July 29th 2003. According to my Dr, I will have a cerclage in my next pregnancy somewhere between 10-12 weeks. However, I do not know what type that will be. I am a Nursing student, and consider myself pretty medically knowledgeable, but this whole thing confuses me a bit.

I hope to get to know you all better, and find out more info as well.
