Guest guest
Our son has been on gfcf for 2 weeks now. No supplements so far. For the past two days we have noticed white crystallized sugar like granules in his poop. Has anybody seen this or know what could this be. His lab reports for samples taken last week are still to come.
Guest guest
We had the same thing with our son. We found out it had to do with low taurine levels. With our son, we thought for sure he ate some sand. Then at a DAN conference I ask Dr. Shaw about this, and he had seen this in many autistic kids who were having problems with bile secretion. Botton line, he suggest adding taurine to our diet, and this solved the problem. S.Park [ ] What is this? Our son has been on gfcf for 2 weeks now. No supplements so far. My two > year old vomited after being on the uva ursi for a week. Uva ursi is hard on the liver and/or kidneys [i forget which]. It is also not recommended for children under 12, altho I have in the past given it to my kids for as long as a year without problems. It is helpful for yeast and bacteria issues. For many people, yes it does. Try removing the uva ursi, and give something else that addresses yeast/bacteria, like probiotics or oil of oregano.
