I take mine daily, and I maintain a moderately normal level. I would think

if I was overdosing I'd see the level shoot through the roof.

Hi Carol,

My comment is your body and how you feel is the " right " answer to your

question -- what works for you is the right thing to do. If YOU notice the

difference then you do them daily -- I do them daily and can tell a

difference if I forget or am away and don't have them with me.

I have the same " conflict " with my protein drinks -- after a good work out

I might chug two in a row BECAUSE I FEEL so much better if I do -- I know I

don't actually absorb the protein from the second one but don't really care

because I feel twice as good and then I'm set to down gallons of water which

makes me feel even better...

I believe our bodies " speak " to us if we listen carefully then we KNOW what

is right for our own bodies. Obviously, our lab numbers are important in

helping us gauge those things we don't actually " feel " right away -- but, in

this case where you can " feel " the difference then TRUST your body.... go

with what it " tells " you is good for you.

From what I have read, you cannot overdose with B-12. Anyone correct me if

I'm wrong. I read that any excess is just eliminated.

B12 is non-toxic, so if it feels good, do it. JMHO.

  • 4 months later...

Watch it, though. Mine went from 2000 to 400 in 6 months! And that was still

doing 1 shot/month

Re: Sample menu

I forgot to add that I am not allowed to have Vit B-12 for a couple

more months. My level was 1900 and the high is supposed to be 900,

so they told me not to take it for a while - go figure!

Before I was banned from the B-12, though, I would take it in the

early AM after my multi, etc. It disolves pretty quickly.
