Guest guest
Crystal, honeymooning is the period most diabetics have when they are first diagnosed. It means that their pancreas is working, but only some of the time. That's why the bad lows, those are times the pancreas is working and sometimes, like in hypoglycemia, the organ over produces, and sometimes it doesn't work at all and other times it works partially. It's a very confusing thing to happen. All I can say is keep an eye on her. If she starts feeling lethargic and loses weight rapidly and has sweet smelling breath, take her in to be given the full range of tests for diabetes. Kimber -- Kimber hominid2@... Guest guest
Hi It's : I just recieved a baby shower invitation from my sister in the mail, she, my aunt, and I all got preg one after another and of course they still are preg. In any event after I lost my son 11-23 this year she did not even call me to see how I was doing she has never said anything to me, and she is suppose to have a boy like I was, and I believe she is inconsiderate as so her husband since we have not spoke to each other in months due to lots of issues. I really believe they are just trying to get me to there new home since I have never been there to see it just to show off. I really do not know what they are thinking seeing she knows how I feel, because she lost twins during her first preg due to prom at 23weeks;but she has 2 kids now, yet I cried like her for them like they were my own. I just feel so bad that she did not even see me after my loss, nore spoken to me, and wants me to come to her baby shower. Do you think I am being to hard, I don't know what to do Do you think I am being selfish for not going. thanks alicia
Guest guest
, I am so sorry that you have to go through this. it is hard enough that you have lost a baby so close to the holidays and now you are dealing with normal pg women baby showers. I can understand that you are upset that everything is working out normally for the other women. Its like watching your dream of a family and then having it thrown in your face. However, I truely believe that your sister is not throwing her pg in your face. She is just happy that this pg she is having now is going good. You said that she has lost before, and now this pg is working well. Your sister is just happy. When you are pg again and you are at the same week as your sister you will probably feel the same way. I had to face a similar problem. I was pg and three of my good friends were all pg during my pg. when I lost our son and they continued to be pg I was so sad. Everyone would ask around me how they were going and I just cried b/c I wish it was me and what did I do to have to relive these moments over and over. The fact that your sister never called you after your loss is strange. I am not sure what or why she would not be able to call you and see how you were. Have you asked her why. Have you told her how you feel. It helps to release these feelings. i do not think that your sister used her baby shower as a way to get you to see her new house. The fact that the baby shower is in her new house is just b/c they moved during the time of her pg. I believe that you maybe thinking to hard about things. I would call her and tell her that you are unable to come to the baby shower and tell her that it hurts your heart b/c of the loss of your son. This is if you don’t want to go. Tell her how hard it would be to deal the baby things and people right now. If she is truly your sister and loves you she will understand. About the new house. You will have to see it eventually. I think you are very upset with how your sister is acting and trying to find things to hate her for it. So they have a new house and they are proud of it. if you had a new house and a healthy baby on the way wouldn’t you feel happy inside and want to share it with others. I would. We have a new house and hopefully a healthy baby on the way. I wish I could take away your pain and grief but I am not God. I wish that I could have saved your son. I wish I could have saved all of our babies but I cannot. I can only tell you that your feelings are normal and that it is going to be hard for ou and your hd during this time. Love each other, communicate, cry , scream throw things do it all. the only one that understands what happened to your son is your hd. He was there and he is going through the same pain as you. Men are better at hiding things. He loves you, your son loves you, and you will get through this. God bless you and your hd. I hope that you find the strength and love again that puts that beautiful smile on your face. We all will have the miracle we deserve. God bless, Taryn advice Hi It's : I just recieved a baby shower invitation from my sister in the mail, she, my aunt, and I all got preg one after another and of course they still are preg.
