Guest guest
Since Ianda asked and since some of you don't know my story I'll tell it now... I'll just take it from my last pg with the abdominal. I had twins from ivf and had the cerclage at 10 weeks. Everything looked great until I started cramping and got up to go to the restroom and my water broke with baby A () at 20 weeks. I was put on strict bedrest and stayed in the hospital a week. Things were not looking good for , but we were holding out hope for . Well, my cord prolapsed and I had to be delivered. had passed by that time and was stillborn but lived for 10 minutes in our arms. There is no explanation why I prom. I did have an infection in 's sac, but that was most likely from being prom'd for a week and then the cord prolapsing. I spoke with a peri after that loss and he suggested several things we could try. One was not to get pg with twins! Take antioxidants in hope of strengthen my membranes and increase protein intake. We are going to monitor for infection every week beginning at week 16. He also mentioned we may try the 17-p progesterone injections during the 2nd trimester. I also think my mucous plug does not harden and may cause a weakness where the membranes can bulge. So, I go into this pg with my eyes wide open and ready for anything. If I make it to the 2nd trimester, this may be my last chance at bio children... We will try again if I have a 1st trimester loss, but if I have a 2nd, we are probably done.
