Diabetics are now encouraged to give their insulin as food as being served in a restaurant--even if it involves giving their own injections then and there. I've seen them do it in public places. If I had bad asthma, I'd grab my inhaler in public if I needed it to breath. I'd sure rather be seen taking a pill than squirming all around like I do with bad RLS. Proactive also means asking for aisle seats, ect. Today I had allergy testing and instead of lying down as " standard " , I sat backwards in a chair and put my shoulders forward. Worked great.
