In January ' I planted 24 bushes I got free from my Mom,cause as you know every 2 yrs. they have to be thinned... Well , long story short,The bushes are 2 feet off the ground, and about 2 feet wide, and are full FULL of blooms..(each bloom being a fruit ) I should have enough for the whole block ! ! I might have to order some strawberry stuff from you yet !.. But I'm a little scared to use fruit in my diet , because of the sugar... Can I consume 1 cup a day spead out in My shakes ? or will that be bad ? thankyou for all your EXCELLENT support, , in Haines city, Fl.. You know it's rasp, not just BERRY, though. The others you can take 6T straight up (no thanks) OR put in water to taste. You can make them up in water, over ice in a stem glass. Or just add to your water bottle. OR in summer, I put 30g in a water bottle, half full. Freeze. Then as I go, add water, and keep shaking. Eventually it turns into a nummy slush! All I know is I put some fruit with it, only for 3 of my 4 meals a day and poof, my jeans got too tight. Darned raspberries! LOL! Last time I looked, the bushes weren't even green, still just sticks. Well, 1 C a day prolly woulda been OK. But NOOOOOOO, I just went berserk with fruit. Made a compote and then had about a cereal bowl (so about 1C) for 3 of my 4 meals. Sigh. That's the diff. The calories probably were not that bad, but they were 100% SUGAR calories, so there they were, strapped onto my middle, same as if I'd eaten donuts. Sigh. Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn.
