powder, easy to tip out and divide bu does come in caps as small as 25 mg so

I would do a hair test thru DDI to see if he's still high in copper. ALA

prevents fecal excretion of copper. You want to get the copper balanced first

before adding ALA.

Hope this helps!

My son is very high in copper. We are using 3 tsp a day of zinc to lower it.

Somewhere I read that you should not add ALA if high in copper. Is this

true? If so, how do I find out if still high in copper. We are using DMSA.

Thanks for any help.

Make sure the glaucoma drops don't contain thimerosal. If you have any mercury

amalgam dental fillings and plan to chelate yourself, you need to have the

fillings out according the proper protocol by a mercury-free dentist first.

Hello,
By way of introduction - my son, age 6 with severe autism, used
Andy's chelation protocol using DMSA/aLA and went from low (almost
not) to high functioning in just a few years. He is doing
fabulously. We do have an MD but most of my info. came from here.

My question - I had a hair test at the same time as my son's initial
labs and we had almost identical values, suggesting I have a lot of
mercury. However I was pregnant, then nursing my daughter til quite
recently, so I have never undergone any chelation.

I was just diagnosed with chronic glaucoma and one of the strong
suggestions was to supplement the prescription eyedrops with several
standard doses of vitamins, and 50 mg. daily of lipoic acid. Would
it be dangerous for me to take it once a day? What about once a
week, or something in between? (My daughter is no longer nursing, I
mean just for my own health - I want to do anything possible to not
lose vision, but I don't want to be stupid about mercury.)

Thanks -
