Hello everyone.

It's pouring with rain here, and yesterday some of Southern

England had its warmest January day since records started in the

1800s, with a great sweep of air coming up from the Spanish

Atlantic region.

It's easy to dismiss the concentration concept, but I have enough

personal experience to decide to stick my neck out and admit to

something. . .

I often fail with concentration, and I think it's simply because what I

try concentrating on is not powerful enough.

Now I'm a male and fairly normal I suspect, so you can guess what

might be capable of involving my mind enough to distract it from the

legs.

I 'confessed' this once before, but there may be new members out

there who could gain something from this. I once bought a soft-porn

novel at an airport, before heading off on the first 8 hour leg of a '14

flights in 10 days' type of visit to the US. There's a publishing label

called 'Black Lace', which is supposed to be porn written by

women for women's consumption, so although totally explicit it

tends toward the sensual and imaginative. (I wont confess in public

to what in particular turns me on!) Anyway, it worked. The 8 hours

went, and I didn't know my legs were there until it was time to get

off the plane. (Who the heck invented the stupid term " de-plane " ?)

I wish my mind could get as interested in topics such as

philosophy, linguistics, gardening, etc etc etc but I must admit it

cannot.
