Guest guest
Hi, Debbie! I am glad you are going to try to get off the xanax, but remember all the discussions on tricyclic antidepressants? I just want to remind you about some of the stories we've heard about Elavil. I am on of the Elavil stories. Of course, everyone is different, but it has been fairly wll documented that Elavilcan extremely exacerbate RLS symptoms. That is when my RLS was the worst; when I was on Elavil for prevention of migraines. I can't tell you how much sleep I did not get. Hopefully it will work for you, but keep track of your symptoms. It takes a few weeks for the level of the medication to build up in your system. Good luck, and let us know how it works. Donna/Vt
Guest guest
Just another one with input on Elavil... it made my RLS go crazy. It was supposed to help me sleep and instead kept me up all night. The first night... slept like a baby. The next.. .all hell broke loose. Prozac doesn't have the same affect however. Though it doesn't help with sleeping either. Just my two bits. Goooooooooo Falcons. in Atlanta
