Guest guest
Hi everyone! I'm so greatful that I found this site. I'm ttc#2 1st found of clomid 50mg. I lost my first baby in March at 21.5 wks. The concenses was cervical failure (plus bicornate uterus)and have discussed with perinatalogist having cerclage this time. The problem is that I didn't know there are two types. This has not been discussed with me. My reg. gyn did mention that there is a procedure where they remove a muscle from your thigh and wrap it around your cervix but they don't do it much anymore. As of yet I haven't found a good description of how an abdominal cerclage is done. Can you please explain the difference to me. Now I feel that I have more questions for the docs and again I'm worried about the outcome. The peri doc said that the cerclage gives 95% chance of having a survivalble term baby. After seeing your experiences I wonder how true that is. I appreciate all of your help.
