Sorry I've been MIA recently. Life has been busy and my time on the

computer has been limited. Plus it was down for a couple of days last week

:-)

In the past month I hurt my neck and shoulder. After 3 weeks I went to a

chiropractor and found out I had popped a rib out of place and it was

causing my trigger points. After 2 appointments I'm good as new! Actually,

I was a new woman after the first appointment. LOL. I'm going to see him

again next week, once for a check to make sure everything is still in

alignment and again to start acupuncture for weight loss.

Then stepped on something in the bathroom (we think the underside of

her potty seat) and sliced a big part of her heel off. It was bleeding

pretty badly and so we went to the ER (why don't children at my house ever

get hurt or sick unless it is after 10 PM?). 5 hours later they couldn't

stitch it (too thin of skin) so they washed it and bandaged it up. Told me

10-14 days to heal. It wasn't looking much better after about 6 days so we

went back to the Dr. this past week. He said it will take 6 weeks to fully

heal. I can deal with the progress on that timeline :-)

In between Em's ER visit and the Dr. I fell down our stairs. Just slipped

but banged up my ribs and bruised my back and head pretty good. Taking it

easy due to limited motion and pain.

Drew turned 8 yesterday! We spent the afternoon with friends and then had

dinner, presents, etc. with them as well. Tonight we went to dinner with

parents, aunt, uncle, etc.

And to complicate everything more I have a big workshop tomorrow night for

stamping and scrapbooking that I've been getting ready for.

Anyhow, I'm going to make an effort to read what is going on with everyone.

Welcome to our new members. I hope you jump on in and get to know everyone.

Drew, 8 years, anaphylactic to peanuts, allergic to dogs, environmental

allergies, severe eczema, outgrown dairy!

Mattie, 5 years, no known allergies

, 19 months, no known allergies but avoiding all nuts until she is much

older!
