Guest guest
Thanks . Do you think that I should ask the doctor about taking Grant to PT? Background...he is 8 weeks old, since birth prefered looking right but would look both directions (obviously not equally), no tilt that I can see, even if everything is on his left side (including me) he doesn't necessarily look towards me, even if his left shoulder is out into his room he doesn't always look out into the room, when I move his head to the left he will keep it there for a bit but then he moves it back to the right. Let me know what you guys think. I was given stretches with my 22 month old...would they hurt to be doing with my 8 week old? Guest guest
I would definitely push for a referral for PT. I asked about PT for my son at his two month checkup and was told that they didn't refer for PT unless they couldn't turn their head the other way. My son could look to the left, he just didn't. And if you turned his head to the left, he would only hold it there for a few seconds and then turned back to the right. He did have a slight tilt sometimes, although I didn't see it at the time. At five months when we were in the process of getting a band, I pushed for a referral for PT. I figured the band was only going to fix the resulting problem, but not the underlying cause. The PT really helped a lot. > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > I have a few questions that seem like they should have a simple > > > answer but I'm not sure what the correct answers are. > > > > > > 1. Guest guest
Thanks . It sounds like your son did the exact same thing with his head. > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > I have a few questions that seem like they should have a simple > > > > answer but I'm not sure what the correct answers are. > > > > > > > > 1.
